27 HOLE GOLF

COURSE GUIDE
The original 27-hole design is the work of famous designer Pepe Gancedo; but it was Manuel Piñero who was responsible for turning Golf del Sur into the only course in the Canary Islands with 3 competition courses to choose from, after the Links Course and the North Course were remodelled in 2005. The 27 holes are laid out in three different courses: the north course – 2949 metres, has 9 holes, consisting of 2 par-3, 5 par-4 and 2 par-5 holes. The South Course, 2 par-3 holes, 5 par-4 holes and 2 par-5 holes, is over 2957 metres long. The par 36 recently opened links course is divided into 2 par-3, 5 par-4 and 2 par-5 holes, covering a distance of 2853 metres. The geography of the terrain has a significant impact on the characteristics of each course. The presence of the sea and the impressive gorges that mould the course give golfers the chance to enjoy every visit they make to Golf del Sur to the limit. The broad, rolling fairways are dotted with countless natural obstacles. The presence of several lakes contrasts with the spectacular volcanic sand traps that protect the approaches to the greens. The facilities of Gold del Sur are on a par with the very best golfing complexes in Europe. The traditional style club house has an area for hosting events of all kinds, backed up by a fabulous catering service. The golf shop offers guests a wide range of top brand products. With the creation of the Golf School, Golf del Sur is clearly opting to promote the sport on the island.
Driving range, 2 putting and chipping greens complete a well cared for practise area. Golf del Sur gives you the chance to share the same sensations that many of the golfing greats felt when they competed on an emblematic course.
